These days it has become mandatory that all Karthi Sivakumar starrers should be released in Telugu simultaneously, as the actor enjoys huge popularity in Andhra Pradesh with his films raking in good revenue from there.
Even as his immediate release 'Saguni' gearing up to hit the screens in AP as 'Sakuni', his next venture 'Alex Pandian' too will have a simultaneous Telugu release. The Tollywood version of the movie has been titled 'Bad Boy'.
Starring Karthi and Anushka in lead roles, the film directed by Suraj is being produced by KE Gnanavelraja of Studio Green. Other actors in important roles are Santhanam, Nikitha, Suman and Milind Soman.
The film is taking shape fast. Recently, a fight scene was shot at an expense of Rs 2 crore. Train, jeeps, two-wheelers and helicopters were used for the sequence, which required Karthi to fight on a running train.
