Oscar winner AR Rahman will be composing for Danny Boyle for the opening ceremony of the Olympics this year! Rahman says, "I am doing a track for him (Danny) for the Olympics. It's one of the songs for the opening ceremony. It's a secret".

ARR and Danny have earlier worked together in 'Slumdog Millionaire' that won Rahman two Oscars - Best Original Score and Best Song in 2008. The duo later got together for '127 Hours' that received acclaim from across the globe and were nominated for these two categories.

It may be mentioned, it's also widely reported that Ilayaraja's 'Naandhan Ungappanda...' from Ram Lakshman (1981) is touted to be performed at the Opening Ceremony this year.
