Shaam became a sought after actor in Tollywood after the success of 'Kick' ('Thillalangadi' in Tamil). This made the actor to apparently stay away from Kollywood for some time. However, he is now planning a strong comeback.
The actor is playing the lead role in a movie titled '6', directed by V Z Durai of 'Mugavari' and 'Nepali' fame. To get his act right in one of his looks in the movie, Shaam lost almost 17 kgs.
"The film is about Ram, who is in a search for something. The movie tracks three different phases of his life and one the looks, which is to be unveiled towards the climax, will be the highlight of 6," Shaam says.
"Besides losing 17 kilos, Shaam grew a long beard and went sleepless for few days. Durai was surprised to see me in the new look. I strongly believe the movie will be a turning point to both of us," adds the actor.
