Contrary to the hopes of Vijay fans, who were expecting that the teaser trailer of their favourite star's forthcoming film 'Thupaki' will be released on his birthday tomorrow (June 22), director A R Murugadoss has clarified that no such plans are in pipeline.
"Thupaki will be an entertainer with a difference. It is a racy commercial movie, which, at the same time, will not follow any formula. I should thank Vijay for his great co-operation," the director says.
Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, 'Thupaki' has Kajal Aggarwal as the heroine. Most of the scenes were shot in Mumbai. Music is by Harris Jayaraj and an audio launch is expected next month.
